Project Summary
This scheme involved the realignment and full road construction of a one-mile section of road between Monaghan town and Emyvale. The scheme included the removal of several dangerous bends along this N2 National Primary Route and P.Keenan carried out the Asphalt Surfacing works for its valued Client, Monaghan County Council.
The surfacing works consisted of the laying of approximately 8000 tons of Blacktop material over a 2 week period to specified design levels and tolerances. Successful works programming was essential to ensure the main N2 Monaghan route remained open to traffic in both directions.
