Project Summary
This scheme involved the complete Asphalt resurfacing of the main street and footpaths in the centre of Donaghmore Village as well as Asphalt resurfacing to the adjoining Castlecaulfield road past St Josephs Grammar School.
The works consisted of re-kerbing and installation of new drainage systems, road foundation strengthening, regulating layers, 45mm depth Hot Rolled Asphalt surface course, footpath resurfacing, provision of speed humps, provision of road markings, traffic management and ancillary works.
Extensive consultation with town centre businesses, local residents and the introduction of pedestrian safety measures ensured the successful delivery of this scheme on-time and to a high standard.
